| Abstract | Este trabalho mostra o mapeamento eólico para o Nordeste a partir de simulações do Modelo Eta em 10 km de resolução horizontal. A média anual e sazonal são apresentadas para os ventos a 50m e o fator de forma, k, da distribuição de Weibull. As regiões de ventos anuais mais intensos e de maiores k se encontram na divisa entre Piauí e Ceará, na divisa entre Piauí e Pernambuco, em várias áreas na Chapada Diamantina na Bahia, litoral e faixa em pontos altos da Serra da Borborema no Rio Grande do Norte e Pernambuco, litoral e algumas regiões altas no Ceará. Comparação com outro mapeamento, mostra concordância entre as áreas. This works shows a wind map for Northeast of Brazil derived from Eta Model simulations at 10 km horizontal resolution. The annual and seasonal means of 50-m winds and the k-shape factor of a Weibull distribution are shown. The regions of most intense winds and largest k-shape factor are located along the border between Piaui and Ceara states, along the borders between Piauí and Pernambuco states, various areas in the Diamantina Plateau, along the coastline and elevated areas of the Borborema mounts in the Rio Grande do Norte and Pernambuco states, and elevated areas and coastline of Ceara state. Comparison against another wind map shows agreement in these major areas. |
